Bernie Sanders with some real talk about this election

With respect...

1. California is not a swing state. The latest odds I saw were 90% that it would go for Hillary.

2. Votes from the ordinary citizens don't count toward the presidential contest, only electoral college votes (decided by winner-take-all state contests) do.

3. So...voting for Jill Stein, Greens in a non-swing state like California would not have an impact on the outcome, but might a) let Hillary know that her corporate-friendly ways don't get a pass, and b) empower the Greens by giving them recognition and potentially matching funds.

Bernie's *got* to say "Vote for Hillary" if he's issuing a general message that covers all, even swing states. I say Vote smart.
